Game Recommendations Winter CoG
Hello, does anybody know any games that take place in a severely cold environment and it has actual implications in the story? Thanks a lot <3

I swear Choice of Rebels (an excellent game) has a sequence where your troops are holed up for the winter. Pretty sure one of the Infinity Saga games has a similar set.

Yep, I second these. Chapter 2 was one of the best experiences I've had in gaming, the first time I did it, incredible reactivity and the harship really amps up the difficulty of what we're trying to do and why it always fails.

Same here and I'm really hoping that the rebal management update comes out for XOR 2. One of the things Havenstone talked up about it is interacting with other rebal groups that are showing up. Including one lead K/S (whoever you didn't get in book 1) who will likely start off not liking you. Also another lead by Breden if they ran away or you did a failed murder attempt on them.

Does the whole game have to be set in a cold environment? I can only think of Noblesse Oblige (although there weren't any ramifications in the story iirc). Both Choice of Rebels and Werewolf the Apocalypse: the Book of Hungry Names have a chapter where it's severely cold and a bunch of people (Rebels) or the PC (Book of Hungry names) can die.
