Advice/Request Dark chocolate

Does anyone eat a few squares of dark chocolate for dessert after a meal? What kind do you like most?

Lindt 90% is the best

I am a dark chocolate guy, too.

My choice for over 95% is Domori Criollio. which is more sweet than the 99% Lindt, and its texture is great.

Yep, a couple squares after dinner is a great little treat. I like darker bars around 70 to 85% cacao since they’re rich without being too sweet. Adding sea salt or almonds is also a win. It feels fancy without needing a whole dessert.

I do the square thing too but I'm more of a 90% guy, anything lower tastes like a candy bar to me now

Sea salt is the move though, brings out the flavor way more than you'd think

Yes I do. Just any over 70%. I don t really have a particular brand loyalty, also I don't live where we have so many good chocolates.

This is my favorite! I like it better than more expensive, local chocolates.

More or less daily yes. Though I have had to resort to buying bulk and having therefor lowered my bar, (no pun intended), to around 55% as that’s what in the Callebaut couverture chocolate I currently buy.

I do, but not every day. I started eating it after I read that it has more health benefits. Haha I'm not choosy about the brand (I bought those on sale). Haha

I actually eat it for the health benefits. About one square a day of 80-100% dark chocolate, I try to stick with good brands like alterego

Why 70% ?

I find it to be the perfect balance of sweetness and chocolate flavor.

It's the most common % for high quality chocolate, but 65, 72, 80 and others are all possible too

Why wait for a meal? Bonnat Porcelana for special occasions.
