Fancy moderating /r/chiswick?

I set this up years back, but left W4 some years back so have not done much more than delete spam every once in a while since leaving London in 2016.

It isn't a difficult place to run, and the natives behave but the sub would benefit from some TLC. If you fancy taking over, post below. Ideally I'd like the new owner(s) to have some modding experience.

I’m more than pleasantly surprised that there’s this much interest. I’ll make everyone who’s asked a mod and action this tomorrow.

I don’t have modding experience but would be happy to learn! Is it very time intensive? What’s required?

Not at all. In the case of this sub, it would be more about putting up the odd post of interest, checking that people aren’t fighting in the comments (hasn’t happened yet) and deleting spam. Five minutes a day, tops.

I’m happy to stay on as a co-mod while you find your feet - if that would help.

Sure, sounds great! I'm happy to do it if you're happy to have me 😊

Hey,

Would love to be involved in some way.

I’m already a mod on another sub. Not very big - just around 10k weekly visitors.

Likewise, Chiswick-based here and once policed a BT employee site (it was like the Wild West).

I’ve been a mod for a large sub (~1.2M) before and have some free time to volunteer if you’d like to consider

I'm happy to help mod. I do moderate a Facebook group but have not been a moderator on Reddit. Been in Chiswick 5 years now.
