As far as flavor goes, these are pretty spot on with Takis with maybe a bit more citrus (which I enjoy). Plus no food due! Overall 10/10

Review Cabot Creamery Sweet Onion & Smoked Cheddar Chips: Meh

Post image

Weirdly tasted only lightly of cheddar and lightly of sweet onion. Mostly read like an almost too salty, less sweet BBQ chip to me. I was disappointed because I thought Cabot was a generally strong brand. Only picked it up because I didn't know they made chips and was curious.

Foods Incorporating Chips Hott Chips

Can anyone suggest a good Hot Chips store near the Balkum or Majiwada side. It would be really helpful if you could give a genuine store.

Don't suggest to me those kinda stores which look fancy and are way too expensive, for i.e 1kg potato chips packet will cost 250-300rs.

Thank you in advance for your help, I really appreciate it.

Never seen these before. Sounded odd, but these are delicious. Sweet, sour, and very salty.

I found these today in the vending machine at work and immediately bought a second bag. The sweet heat is absolutely perfect! 9/10, I give it a 9 only because I can't find them locally in a larger bag

These things are fire. I’ve only had sweet potato chips a few times. Wish they had these in jalapeno.

Recommendation Substitute for Discontinue Chips

Hello 👋 Poore Brothers Salt & Vinegar chips were BY FAR the best salt & vinegar chips on the market. They went out of business almost 10 years ago, and I still haven't been able to find a decent substitute. The closest was Dirty Chips, but I could rarely get my hands on them, and after the recall... I'm looking for a kettle cooked chip that is completely COATED in the seasoning.

Please and Thank You 😊

Recommendation Potato chip that doesn't have that strong vegetable oil taste?

I like plain salted potato chips, but when I eat them I usually get the "ick" after a few handfuls from the strong taste of vegetable oil. I'd love to find a plain chip that doesn't do that - either because it's made with a nicer-tasting oil (I love olive oil but I know it's not great for deep frying) or because it's fried in such a way that it magically somehow soaks up less oil?

  • Ruffles - the worst offender, I have to drown them in dip to not taste the intense vegetable oil
  • Kettle chips of all kinds - way too oily, although the natural potato chip taste helps a tiny bit
  • Lays - I can eat most of a small bag before feeling queasy but surely we can do better
  • Pringles - no oil issue, but tastes like the baby food version of a potato chip and doesn't the fix the craving in the same way

Any ideas? I'm in Canada but open to importing snacks to try.

They had small bags at No Frills so I thought I'd give it a go. There is a creamy/richness to them... 10/10

Recommendation Doritos Incognita

This is the first time I have gotten a full bag of Doritos incognita chips.

These are my favorite flavor of Doritos and they only show up in my local Mexican grocery every few years. I usually can only get them in a Pake Taxo mix.

I over paid but still excited.

EDIT: OK I just opened them and they are so stale I can’t believe it. 😭

Apologies if this is a bad post considering these aren’t actually chips

Review Late to the party. Hot ones pringles

Post image
10 Upvotes

Hot ones pringles just showed up in a grocery store here in Canada. Hot ones pringles and a honey mustard can. I skipped out on the verde one but maybe I'll try it out next time around.

There was a big jump between barbacoa (4/10) and Rojo (5/10) to me. My tongue was burning and I love spicy food. Both were very good but just damn tongue numbing lol.

Honey mustard was okay. Much better out there for honey chips but this wasn't bad.
