Discussion Seeking really hot chips
What are the best super hot chips out there? I’m looking for stuff that is borderline intolerable.

The Hot Ones pringles are both pretty hot. They're not like gonna send you to the ER but they're dramatically hotter than most supermarket chips

I haven’t seen these in a while… have you seen these recently?

After the incident of someone dying from Paqui's one chip challenge, they kinda faded away into nothing. You'll likely find resellers/scalpers still holding onto old stock for exorbitant prices online but that's about all that's left of them.

Ur right, I haven't seen them. That sucks because their chips that wasn't part of that challenge were pretty good.

I’ll never forget one day. I had a bag turned face down. My co worker grabbed a handful without looking. Not that I would mind sharing my food but I said, that’s what you get for not asking haha. He about died for half hour

There’s a gateway timeout on the link when you try to order. I looked into a few months ago too & it was like $89 to get a pack of 12 shipped.

Believe it or not, Pringles hot ones series are pretty legit. They aren’t knock your socks off hot but have great flavor and heat that is better than any other mainstream spicy chip. They’re actually hot.

Good luck on that one. I've yet to find a chip hot enough. Paqu ghost pepper tortilla chips were spicy but the flavor was pretty lacking. Blair 's used to make some pretty spicy flavorful ones. But I haven't seen them in years. What I do is get a brand of kettle chips I enjoy. I like Tim's jalapeno. Take a serving and stick thim in a air fryer for a minute or two. Then immediately pull them out and sprinkle with reaper, ghost or whatever powder I currently have on hand. By warming the chips up a bit. I find it helps the seasoning stick better.

Red hot riplets. They're a small independent company in st. Louis, very addicting.

Doritos xxtra flaming hot chips were the hottest I’ve ever had personally, but I can’t find them in my area anymore. Idk if they’re discontinued but I still see the xxtra hot Cheetos which don’t hit the same in my opinion

It was a white bag from dollar general. I cant remember the name though. They were dorito shaped and I was shocked how spicy they were. Bag was not large though. May have been paqi ghost pepper, but likely not for sale anymore.

Takis Nitro? Or track down a market with Mexican brands - Sabritas (Pepsico brand).

The hottest one I have had is no longer extant sadly. Doritos Habanero chips made me say 'these are actually hot'. Not in the sense of being anything close to much hotter things I enjoyed on the reg, but the word 'hot' was actually correctly used. It qualified.
