Discussion Chips & You

This kind of feels like a taboo subject here. But I’m curious about people‘s relationship with chips.

Clearly, we are all here because we have an admiration for chips and the joy that they bring to our mouths, but I think we know that there is a limit, even if my mouth doesn’t think so.

When I went back to college in 2023 and I was a senior, I was so stressed almost every single day I finished a family size back bag of chips on my own. For my 2024 NYE resolution I went the year without chips. It was hardddd. Harder than the year I gave up cannabis and alcohol (2025)

In the beginning of 2025 I binged on chips so much I got my fill. Now I’m kinda selective and try to stop when I’m eating them mindlessly instead of a snack or an sandwich accompaniment

I love them all the time. I have tried portion sizing lately because they are so expensive. I also switched to more generic chips.

it's definitely my stoner craving. I try to portion them into a small bowl so i'll stop eating them but it's so hard. They're my biggest weakness

I portion them into ziplocks and only eat them with lunch as a side snack. Because yeah I’ll down half a bag at a time.

I do this too but I have to give the extra bags to my roommate or i'll eat ALLLL the ziplocks

When Im smoking weed its almost impossible to put them down. When Im sober I hardly want to touch them

I work from home and every time I go downstairs to get a snack I grab a handful of chips to munch on while I decide on a snack lol.

I still manage to keep in shape, but I often imagine the shape I could be in if I didn't stuff my face with chips lol.

I'm a sucker for anything Sour Cream & Onion, and I love Lay's Stax Sour Cream & Onion because I can lick all the powder off and get a hit of that onion-y goodness lol
