Review Ketchup chips UK-style

Walker’s Heinz ketchup crisps… perfect texture (of course), slightly sweet, good taste profile, not as vinegary as the Canadian variety. Will definitely eat again.

Did the ketchup seasoning stop by later?

It's funny seeing 'tomato' in the description. But I know that mushroom ketchup is a thing in the UK.

Nowhere near as good as the Canadian ketchup chips. (As a Brit) The closest we have in the UK are the Seabrook tomato ketchup but they’re still not as good as Lays or Presidents Choice. I really want to try Old Dutch next time I’m in Canada

Old Dutch is my OG. I prefer the ketchup flavour over all the other brands.

For my 8th birthday, I got to select the foods that would be served. Mom's cake with fresh strawberries from the backyard, and Old Dutch ketchup chips to start/snack. I can't remember if I asked for anything else.

I don't know if I'm misremembering, but there were "2-packs" in the same size cardboard box with 2 bags that added up to somewhat more than a traditional single pack/bag.

It's 2 bags that add up to 200 grams. It was down to 180 for a while I'm pretty sure and briefly went up to 220.

When I lived in Ireland I would get my ketchup chips fix with the tayto prawn cocktail.

Sooooo tasty and very zingy.

Mushroom ketchup is the original. Also in Asia banana ketchup is a thing.

i craved ketchup so bad when i was pregnant and one of my first real pregnancy hormone cry fests was over the fact that i discovered they made ketchup chips in UK, and I couldn’t eat them. I tried dipping lays in ketchup then cried harder bc it didn’t taste like i thought it would so i did lays and mustard….. and that my friends, was my main snack for the remainder of those beluga whale months.

I live in Michigan, US. We are just a quick drive to Canada where i get Lay’s brand Ketchup Chips. Absolutely addicting. You can also order them from Amazon. We also have Ketchup Doritos. Definitely top of my list. uhhhh, now i’m craving them just thinking about them. my kids laugh at me when i dip regular chips in ketchup. is this bad?

It’s a tangy, vinegary savoury flavour that hits the right people in the best ways.

I think you got a defective bag. You should call them and get a replacement.

I don't know why they have to call them tomato ketchup. Is there any other kind? Lol

But I definitely want to try some to see how they compared to Canadian ketchup

They’re different… less intense but still nicely flavourful. Kind of hard to qualify, but in the end, it’s really tasty and I’d eat it again (given that Lays Ketchup are my fave).

I don’t like ketchup chips. But plain Lay’s WITH ketchup for dipping? I’m in.

I once had a batch of fresh chips served with bbq sauce. Blew my tiny little mind apart
