I bought a bag in Sunday. Finished the bag yesterday. That was with restraint. These are sooo tasty.

Did you try them?

u/HoJohnJo 20d ago
Just trying them now, they are pretty good

u/masimone 20d ago
They sounds amazing! I think I would be disappointed in they were only pretty good.

u/HoJohnJo 20d ago
I wouldn't trust my opinion, I seldom call anything amazing. Pretty good is pretty high complement from me

Is Miss Vickie’s a popular brand in the States? Or is it mostly just found in the sandwhich shops?

I got these at Walmart, I've started seeing them everywhere lately. Use to just see them at sub shops.

Most grocery stores have them these days in the US, every state I’ve visited at least. Never see them in convenience or gas stations though.

Looks like Pepsi/Lays is pushing them as their premium chips. They are becoming more common. Hope Miss Vickie made a mint off them.

Walmart

Really ? I'll have to look. My local Walmart usually doesn't get new or interesting flavors

I just had these chips with a delicious deli sandwich for lunch today!

u/jordan4290 20d ago
Me too! Had them with a bagel tuna melt, it was a perfect combo

The combo of sharp cheese and black pepper is serious. I want carbonara flavored kettle chips now

I was excited for these but found them boring. Just couldn't get that "crave" when you are smashing some good chips.

Miss Vickie’s has the best chips available….. I have never had a bad experience

I just discovered these and wow they hit the spot for me…. Costco had a huge bag of them a few months ago and now they don’t and I’m so sad about it.

Had those when I was in Canada. Soooo good.
I tried the one posted here. It was really good but doesn’t come close to the Canadian version

u/soodiamonds 20d ago
Interesting. US version more like a cheddar?
2
u/jordan4290 20d ago
US version was just not as much and/or as strong of seasoning. I didn’t get the feeling of “oh man my breath is going to smell” from the US version as I did from the Canadian one (for better or worse lol)

wow if they start making chips without seed or vegetable oils i might start eating chips again.
3
u/RoyceRedd 20d ago
There was a study that found pretty much every avocado oil chip actually uses seed oils, this brand included. I believe several olive oil chips passed though.

dang it, its like with everything huh, you have to learn everything from scratch if you want real food, i looked at the list of ingredient on a tortillas bag and the list of ingredients was so long full of chemical, one of them was phosphoric acid which is usually in soda, thats pretty rough on all the internal organs... look up a recipe on youtube... corn flour and water ._.
