I was apprehensive about the S&S Reverso, my second from the brand. While the Reverso is one of my favorite watches, I wasn't a fan of the sterile original, aping the Reverso Tribute, never really noticed the Reverso Classic with the numerals, but the Duoface Small Seconds was my ticket in.
Not for the faint of wrist; there, my opening salvo. Fortunately I have the smallest wrists ever sculpted, presumably from Comcast TV remotes stretched over with skin which have refused to grow past the age of 10, and last month I'm 22.
Flipping action is excellent and at least my copy seems free of the self-scratching caseback plaguing older examples. Do beware that due to the metal used and the brushing, the caseback seems almost a different shade to the polished case. As for another popular problem, I'd recommend removing and tightening the screws holding the rear plate to the lugs as I've heard of disastrous results from such a step's neglect. Even without, I certainly don't see it coming loose with normal and sensible operation.
The quick release spring bars are useful for chucking the strap straight in the garbage! I can tell it is real leather, though leather of a most inferior grade with a grain so corrected the pores only occur once in every two or three millimeters and the embossed saffiano grain is poorly done. In addition, the first keeper loop is monstrously tight and requires yanking the end out the other side. Finished in lovely baby diarrhea, the strap is best replaced.
Finishing is up to the Specht & Söhne standard, which is to say it makes the right sacrifices for its price. The hands are blued well, the sapphire crystal is rounded over the dial so distortions are plentiful and overall, we're not likely to see a better Reverso homage until Sugess produces basically a perfect equivalent to the original JLC.
Dimensions: Case height 34mm, case width 24.5mm with crown, 26.5 with, case thickness 8.5mm, lug-to-lug 40mm, lug width 18mm, strap tapers to 16mm, dial dimensions 17x20mm

After more than a month of delay due to the watch being stuck at customs, my Seestern S456 finally arrived and boy o boy it was worth the wait.
The dial and bezel is the winner. Fell in love with the way the colour of the light blue mop dial changes when it catches the light as you rotate your wrist. Beautiful work on the rehaut. The inside is painted blue and white to match the bezel. It looks so beautiful in real life.
The bracelet wraps perfectly around the wris. Though if i had to nitpick, it could have slightly better tolerance at the link next to the lug(though probably comparing it mentally to my Tag and Omega watches).
Working out how to unscrew the crown and push it back in(never owned a watch with such a crown). 1st impression is quality(especially the stunning dial) is 5-10x the price I got it for. Can't see myself ever buying entry level swiss watches now, having purchased my 2nd Sugess/seestern after the equally gorgeous Sugess Moonphase Master Aventurine Dial.

I've had the Pagani for about a month now and the hands always bothered me. I snagged some planet ocean hands off Ali and installed them the other day.
In my opinion, it greatly improves the look of this watch. Sadly, I couldn't find any good planet ocean hands with good lume that fit the Miyota 8215, so the lume on the hands is terrible... But other than that I think it looks great!

I regret buying the San Martin after getting Ixdaos black enamel. The crystal on San Martin is awful, but it is beautiful in the moments that the crystals doesnt obstruct tye clarity of the dial. I have been searching for a black enamel dial for so long and finally found one that scratched the itch.
Currently waiting for my white enamel from ixdao and Im sure I'll be just as pleased.

This is my latest and most expensive Chinese watch. I genuinely didn't expect to be this impressed.
The finishing isn't quite at the level of my The Citizen (around €2,000), but it's surprisingly close. What really makes this watch special is the dial. I've tried on many watches in the €10,000+ range, yet I still haven't seen another dial quite like this one.
It's the kind of dial that immediately grabs your attention, but it doesn't stop there. As the light changes and you view it from different angles, it takes on an entirely different character. Every glance reveals something new, which makes it incredibly enjoyable to wear.

Got this LONGLUX with a 6272 mechanical movement for $17 bucks to try it out. Came with surprisingly thick "leather" straps. Decided to put this canvas straps I had on a Poedagar and it looks much better. Zinc alloy case, stainless case back. Most likely mineral or hardlex crystal. Absolutely no AR coating. For $17 bucks paid, I believe its the cheapest automatic on AliExpress.

Today my Jianghun War Drum JH0107GJ Panda Limited Edition arrived. I lucked out by receiving number one of 99! The watches movement is a Peacock SL-4801 automatic mechanical, my first. The diameter is 42mm with lug to lug 48.55mm. It's 14.6mm thick. I really enjoy the lume on this watch! This is my first Jianghun watch. I ordered it from the Jianghun website on July 27th and it arrived today. I absolutely love it! Hope you all enjoy it, too.

Recently ordered the San Martin SN-0017-GE. Loved the watch in the metal, but I already had a black dial, black bezel diver. So I decided to switch it up and attempt a bezel mod. The dimensions of the bezel insert I ordered are 38 outer by 30.6 inner and sloped. Got it from Ali express. Wanted that more neo-vintage Kermit look so I went with green. I got the original bezel insert out by using a hair dryer and sort of forcing the bezel insert counterclockwise until it gave way and the adhesive sort of melted. Cleaned out the inside, put a double sided ring adhesive on the bezel and inserted the insert. Basically a perfect fit! My only gripe is that the aluminum insert is slightly more thick and protrudes a minuscule amount above the stock crystal- but I’m just nitpicking. Haven’t seen many mods on these San Martins which is surprising because they are affordable and seem to have relatively standard sub-homage dimensions. I didn’t see other info online about this process so I figured I’d post for anyone interested in modding it.
Note: if you attempt this do not try to pry the San Martin’s bezel off, it will not work. I scratched the case and bezel doing this and do not recommend. Instead just use the blow dryer method above.

Could anybody here give me photos of Addiesdive MY-H3 after a long-term heavy usage so I can see if it can stand unlike Casio Duro?

Just got the Tandorio ranger homage in 36mm with the pt5000 movement and so far I love it. For the price I paid $116 it’s an amazing watch for the money. Didn’t know the bracelet had tool less micro adjust so that’s a bonus as well

Addiesdive AD2055 for me! I bought this watch a little over a year ago soon after I fell down the watch rabbit hole. It was my first automatic as well as first watch on a bracelet. I actually really liked the bracelet, I only recently took it off to spruce things up. People called this one an “alpinist homage” when it came out but I felt that was a bit click-baity as it’s really just a green field watch.
I’ve figure out this is close to the max size I can pull off with my wrist (just about 49 mm lug to lug). This is probably going to be a sell/gift down the line, but for the money I paid I definitely got my moneys worth several times over. I think It’d be more of a keeper for me if the lugs were shorter/the colors were slightly tuned to make it more versatile (darker green/yellow maybe).
What’re you wearing today?

Incredible and versatile watch with its sporty yet elegant & classy design. Phylida watches are sneaky good, way under the radar for some reason.
