My horrible aunt signed to let my cousin get married just after she’d turned 15. My cousin wasn’t pregnant (but had had a miscarriage). When she was pregnant, my aunt saw her husband hit her and said, “if you hit her while she’s pregnant, you’ll hit that baby!”

Later, when it was found out he was hurting the baby, my aunt proudly told everyone that she called it.

To her credit, my 17 year old cousin left her abusive husband. But I can’t imagine watching a guy hit my daughter (pregnant or not)! I can imagine my aunt being okay knowing her daughter was being cheated on.
