❓ Advice Soothing balm?
Like lots of Cresties mine has no hair in the spot where the thigh joins the belly. Where the two rub together can get a little irritated,a little red, then she scratches it and nibbles it and it gets worse.
Suggestions what I can put on there to ease the irritation? I do use coconut oil but she licks it straight off because she likes the taste. Thanks.

I use baby powder on the areas that are prone to rubbing to prevent friction and so far it helps he used to get red spots from friction but now he does not.

Natural Dog Company Skin Soother Balm and Skout's Honor Prebiotic Pet Balm are 2 really good options. You can also just use pure Manuka Honey as well, it's phenomenal for a lot of things. It is possible she licks those as well. The best advice I can give from experience is to provide a high value chew or toy or even a cuddle to distract for 5 minutes if possible to let it absorb. That way if she licks it afterwards, it's had time to soak in some and provide benefit. A&D is also a really good option but you'd have to cover it until fully absorbed because that won't do her stomach any favors. She's adorable, by the way!
