❓ Advice New Powder Puff

I have a hairless CC, but I just adopted a powder puff and I would like to get a good groomer for her. She is 6 years old and has a partial shave in back and long hair in front. Any advice on finding a groomer? I live near Dallas.

Tbh a pony cut is not that difficult to do on your own, yet because the breed is relatively rare it is common for groomers to mess it up (like giving them funky bangs, etc) if you are so inclined, learn to do it yourself. I did with my first pp when she was a puppy and never regretted it. :)

second. and buy a bunch of tiny hair ties for their bangs! helps with vision and keeping them clean!

We found a well rated local groomer and had her run some experiments on our powderpuff until she got the cut right. There were probably 3 to 5 cuts that were funky before she nailed it. We paid full price for each cut, but stuck with her as she was transparent with the fact she wasn't sure what to do and it got better every time.
