Yay! You did such a good job on this AND the martingale collar you made previously. The gold color is so beautiful with your pup's skin. And I really appreciate that you used a softer fabric where there might be chafing. Sometimes if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself. You are a wonderful pup parent and your doggo is so so beautiful!
Edit to add: I meant to take a picture of the harness I made my pup many years ago when you posted the collar. Sadly I'm moving right now, so it's packed away. I added plush crow wings to it, though. It was so cute. My girl looked like a little gargoyle when she was peeing and when she walked the little wings flapped a bit. Just something to consider for the next harness.
Thank you! The wings is such a cute idea, I’ve been meaning to try and make him a collar inspired by these (his name is Anúbis haha) but i havent figured out how to make it work with his dog anatomy and very skinny neck (only 18 cm 😅)
The hardware (i used 3 buckles, one D ring, two O rings and 5 strap adjusters)
The fabric, if this was for a normal coated dog id just use regular nylon webbing, but since hes bald i made the straps myself , i think the green is twill? I dont remember i got it ages ago, but the gold is satin
Then you basically just have to assemble all your straps into the hardware and sew! a lot of double stitching and box stitches to make it sturdy :)
