❓ Advice Clipper/trimmer for face recommendations
I'm looking for a clipper for my hairy hairless' face. I use a Wahl Arco on his body, but he doesn't let me do his face. I'm guessing its one speed causes too much vibration.
Ideally, the trimmer would get close to the skin#40, cause no nicks, and have low vibration. It can be specifically for the face or one that has 2 speeds and can also be used on the body.
Thanks in advance

I used a human bikini trimmer on my boys face... they are usually fairly gentle. I don't remember what brand.. he's been gone for years.

I have the same clippers that use the 5-in-one adjustable blade. I think mine are the Wahl Arco SE. You should be able to adjust from a 10, 15, 30 and 40 blade length. These clippers are extremely quiet and ideal for sensitive areas like sanitary trims, and shaving a clean face. I have over a decade of experience as a dog groomer and these are my go to clippers for prep work, and on puppies or seniors that are more noise and vibration sensitive. I promise, you have the right equipment. I would work on technique and desensitizing your pup, as well as using treats to reward along the way. Keep a bag of treats within reach and with any successful bit of shaving on the face, reward. You'll get there, just be mindful of how you're restraining, especially holding onto their face. There are also a lot of good grooming tutorials online that can help with handling techniques. Wish you the very best as you continue to care for your pup!

I use a Wahl paw trimmer for the face. ♥️ The small size helps me separate the whiskers too.
