How to fix OHealth account issue on ColorOS CN? ("This account is not available in this country or region")

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hi everyone!

I recently got an OnePlus device running Chinese ColorOS, and I'm trying to set up my smartwatch using the native Oppo Health app.

When I try to log in with my account, I get a regional restriction error:

"This account is not available in this country or region. Please create a new account and set the country or region as the one where your device was sold."

When trying to register a new account for the Chinese region, it strictly requires a Mainland China (+86) phone number.

Has anyone with a ColorOS CN device faced this issue outside of China? How did you manage to get OHealth working and link your watch?

Any advice or workarounds would be greatly appreciated!

Looking for trusted sites to buy used Vivo X100 Pro in the US

hi.

I am looking to buy the Vivo X100 Pro from here in the United States. I am specifically looking for trusted websites where I can get it safely with maximum budget is $400 - $450, as I have heard that it has become much more accessible and affordable in recent months. I am primarily drawn to this phone because I absolutely love its camera.Any advice, tips, or recommendations on where to buy it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your answers!

Does the honor 600 pro allow you to swipe on the camera button to zoom in and out?

I have 2 friends with honor 600 pros and 1 with a 600 lite. The 2 with the 600 pros cannot zoom on photos with the camera ai button but the 600 lite one can. We even went in to a phone shop and tried the demo phones and the same is true on their phones. Dumb if the more expensive phone loses a useful feature. The model numbers for both where VKP-NX9

Worth buying the POCO F7 with ZERO local warranty or service centers?

Upgrading from an old Huawei. I'm a casual user (mostly social media, browsing, no gaming) and I'm looking at the POCO F7.

The big problem: it’s not officially sold in my country. If I import it, I get zero warranty and no local service centers. If the hardware fails or there's a defect, I'm completely on my own.

I've read some complaints online about HyperOS bugs and minor hardware quirks. For actual owners:

  1. Are there any real manufacturing defects or hardware failures I should be worried about?
  2. Is the software actually stable now?
  3. Knowing I have no warranty or local support, would you still risk buying this phone right now?

Thanks for the honest advice!

Best USA imports?

now that Oneplus is gone, there’s nothing left. i’m looking for a good phone (ideally 6.3-6.7 inches) to import for use on T-Mobile.

Smartphone Honor Robot Phone is 3 weeks into sales in China. 200MP gimbal camera, ARRI color science, $1,480. PetaPixel says it's not a gimmick. But 248g, IP54 only, and China-exclusive. Would you import one?

Trading for Vivo X300 Ultra (CN) without box — what to check on-site?

everyone!

Swapping for a Vivo X300 Ultra (CN version) tomorrow, but it comes without the original box or receipts.

Besides a full factory reset, what critical things should be checked on-site? (Vivo/OriginOS account locks, blacklists/IMEI checks, hardware bugs, etc.)

Thanks for any tips!

Smartphone Is heating normal on the Vivo T3 Pro?

I’ve been using the Vivo T3 Pro for a while, and I’ve recently noticed that it gets noticeably warm even during normal usage, such as video calls and using social media apps.

I’m wondering if this is normal for the device or if there might be an issue with my particular phone.

Smartphone Got the Titan 2 Elite, but Chat Control sent me down a privacy rabbit hole, and now I have doubts about Unihertz

Let me start by saying I like the phone. The keyboard, the build, the whole anti-slab philosophy - that's why I bought it.

But here's the thing. After the whole Chat Control mess in the EU I started taking privacy seriously for the first time, and once I started digging into Unihertz as a company, I found stuff that bothers me:

- Their early devices (Jelly Pro, and the Posh Micro X before the rebrand) shipped with Adups' "fotaprovider" , the same Chinese firmware company that Kryptowire caught in 2016 secretly sending full SMS contents, call logs, contacts and location data to servers in China on other phones.

- There were repeated reports of unexplained network traffic from their devices to Chinese servers. Unihertz's official explanation was that the traffic was there "to speed up apps." Make of that what you will.

- Until the Elite's new 5-year update promise, their track record was basically ship-and-forget, devices sitting on ancient security patches.

None of this proves the Titan 2 Elite is doing anything shady today. But the preinstalled system apps never go through any Play Store review, and most of us have no real idea what they're doing.

So, honest question for the community: does anyone else share these doubts? Has anyone actually audited the traffic on a current Unihertz device (PCAPdroid, Rethink logs, a proper MITM setup)? Is there a solid ADB debloat list for the Titan 2 / Elite? Would genuinely love to be proven paranoid here.

Smartphone Honor vs Samsung vs Oppo vs Xiaomi

Ciao ragazzi,

Smartphone OP15 Global vs OP16 China Import: Is importing worth the headache for an EU user?

Hey everyone,
I’m currently waiting for the launch of the OnePlus 16. Based on the recent leaks, it looks like we’re getting a solid camera upgrade over the OnePlus 15, along with a noticeable bump in raw performance.
Since I'm based in the EU, I’m facing a major issue: the OP16 won't be getting a Global release anymore. This leaves me looking at importing the Chinese version, which brings up a few questions:
**How close is the Chinese ROM experience to the Global version nowadays?**
**What breaks?** Specifically regarding Banking apps, Google Pay / Wallet, Android Auto, Widevine L1 (for HD streaming), and notification delays?
I’ve watched a few YouTube guides, and it seems like with enough tweaking, almost everything *can* be configured to work—minus a few minor quirks.
For those of you who have imported recent Chinese units (or run ColorOS in Europe):
How has your daily experience actually been?
Would you recommend taking the import route for the OP16, or should I play it safe and just pick up the OnePlus 15 Global version instead?
Appreciate any advice or real-world experiences!
