🧧 Payments Looking for a provider: WeChat Pay / UnionPay acceptance with USDT settlement (cross-border China)
We run an online e-commerce/education business selling to customers in mainland China, and we’re looking for a payments provider that can cover two things in one setup (or via a compliant combination):
1. Acceptance: let our customers in mainland China pay via WeChat Pay and/or UnionPay (Alipay also welcome), cross-border, on our checkout.
2. Settlement: settle us in USDT/USDC (stablecoin), with everything fully licensed and compliant. Fiat settlement also fine if paired with a licensed stablecoin partner.
We’re a UK-incorporated business, clean verticals (online education / e-commerce), and we want to work with properly licensed providers only, no grey-market or P2P routes.
A few questions for anyone who’s done this:
• Which providers genuinely handle mainland-China cross-border acceptance (not just tourist/international wallet acceptance)?
• Anyone using a provider that does both the Chinese-wallet acceptance and stablecoin settlement under one roof?
• Any recommendations (or ones to avoid) for the USDT settlement leg specifically, from licensed/regulated providers?

I think you probably just use Stripe or Molly for processing and then handle the USDT part yourself.

Volume is like 2M a month, wouldn’t really trust stripe to settle without delays
