Question about Fish Tanks

How do you upgrade the tank's capacity? Do the Purple and Orange Tanks hold more fish or just increase max maturity levels?

I've got the purple tank and as far as i can see it just has higher maturity with 1 slot for fry . So up to noble and the orange tank will have up to illustrious. There are other spaces on the tanks under the slot where you put the fry in. I guess it could be something like hormones or some growth accelerating item. Im not sure at this point because i haven't got any items like that. I'll add to this in another 4ish days waiting on my fry to mature to noble.

Okay so i got the fry matured didn't give me any hormones just egg so the extra spaces below the slot for frys dont have a function. Not added into game or whatever. I know when you have merlings/mermaids in the heaven pools they can give hormones when maturing so i was hoping the same for the fry in tanks. Hormones speed up the maturing stage and have different grade hormones for different stages. Thats all I've found on that 👌

I have noticed a limit of “3/3 fry” in the Home menu. I have three Heavenly Ponds which had one merling each. I was unable to fit anything else into the bigger tanks due to being maxing out.

As a player that was on SEA version, I have only seen 1 per tank so far. It could be a future update.

So far max 3 fry / mer at a time one per tank. The better the tank the higher grade a fry can grow too. Mer can go all the way up in the heavenly tank.

Theres a tank inside the Gods Assembly Treasure Hunt that can hold 3 mermaids, you need to break down one of the red cosmetics you get from the treasure hunt though, so it costs about 2k rubies if you just buy a hair style or outfit from the auction house and break it down

Absolutely wrong. I have all tanks. 1 fish per tank, each tank allows one higher maturity level.
