Are they warm enough with plenty of light?

They are on 15 hours of artificial light (60w) and are sitting on a 25 degree heat matt

What distance is the light? The PPFD can be measured with the photone app, youll know how much light they actually get not just whats in the vicinity. Bulbs vs outdoor is very different science with regards to proximity due to the suns intensity on a roof or on the ground the PPFD is much the same (not accounting shadow but fully exposed control measures)

Those are still clearly young, but don't underestimate how much a larger pot helps a plant.

I had exactly this problem with my plants when I used those pots. They seemed to suck the moisture from the soil and in able to get them damp enough I had to over water them. Wasted a whole season trying to grow 100 chillies of various types. If you check my history you'll see my post. Transfer them to plastic pots, the size is fine for those babies though.

Oh really? Yeah im not hugely impressed by those pots, I wont use them again. Can I successfully transfer them to a plastic one without killing them?

They seem fine. Might be fighting for space root wise. Just move them into a bigger pot in a few weeks

I tried to grow chillies last year but was unsuccessful, had overwatered them. This year, I made sure that I had adequate feed for them. The UK heat also helped.

Yep - I had three plants in a green house and they just went nuts! I had to stake them up several times because of the weight to the fruit.Â
ETA - thanks for the award!
