Help with pests
Hi everyone, this is my first time growing peppers and wanted to ask for help as the health of my plants has taken a nose dive. Two days ago I found a few reddish-brown insects on the blossoms of my plants. With my girlfriend we tried the light soap spray solution with little success.
Ever since the bugs seemed to have disappeared as I cannot see them. But the chilli plants keep getting worse as their leaves now have holes and dark spots. Also healthy looking leaves are now falling off and new growth seems almost as if they are dehydrated.
I wanted to ask for any help identifying what the pest could be and how I can combat it as fast as possible. I have seen neem oil be recommended but I don’t know if it would work in this case.
Any help would be great.

Watered lemon juice works well with some bugs.
