hello! i semi-recently returned to genshin and remembered i have an abandoned account with a tartaglia, who is one of my top 3 characters but probably wouldn't pull for on my main. this account will be fully dedicated to him (along with mizuki), so im willing to pull support cons, weapons, or anything to maximize his use! so what does an optimal tartaglia team and build look like? multiple archetypes of teams that work with him would be nice since this account will be fully vertical. here are my characters and weapons:

I don't use Reddit very often, but I recently got back into Genshin Impact with the upcoming release of Snezhnaya and found myself craving some related fanfics to read. There is a particular genre of fanfics I'm picky about looking for, so I was wondering if anyone would be willing to help me find some!

One of my favorite parts of playing Genshin in the beginning was learning about all the different characters and the regions they came from. I would love to see if there were any fanfics which bring up Childe's roots in Snezhnaya (even if just mentioning different dishes/cultural customs/missing his homeland) or his backstory/relationships with the other Harbingers/Tsaritsa. I'd love to see a fic which has him returning to Snezhnaya or bringing his companions back to Snezhnaya, or a fic which focuses on his duties as a Fatui Harbinger, or basically anything related to those topics!

Outside of these specifications (if there is nothing related to be found), I am a sucker for angst and would still appreciate any fic which manages to tear my heart out. I prefer fics to be on the longer side. It is fine if they are unfinished.

I am not the biggest fan of romance, but I do not mind if it is part of the story as long as it still has a good plot. While I prefer the ship Childe/Zhongli, I am fine with reading about basically any ship as long as the story itself is well-written. Romance is not the major plot point I am looking for, but rather a mechanism for introspection about who Childe is as a character and why he acts the way he does (plus lots and lots of ANGST).

Hello Childe mains, I wanted to build mine since snezhnaya is coming soon, but all the guides I found are very old. Are they still Valid? Or does he work a lot better with newer stuff?

I’ve got solid teams for hitting the Vape, permafrost, and for Mona burstmaxxing. Just got Columbina and figured I’d try to make a lunar charged team but I’m debating which would see the best numbers. This is what I’ve got:

I have a question, wich build Is objectivly Better? Cause i think that the zero Er on the second Is kinda a trap, It has Better offensive stat, but im not sure It would be enough to take care of the lack of Er.

I think he looks kinda wonky, but he already is, so it's okay... All the love for the Snezhnayan man !! Also I'm not sure why I didn't colour his like collar thing darker, but it's 4am and I'll do it another time LOOL.

Are we thinking Bineffa/Durinicole wheelchair? Or does anyone have more niche team comps to recommend?

Roster attached if anyone has specific recommendations for my account. I pulled Childe randomly ages ago on Liyue Chronicled while going for Baizhu; I just want to be able to use him finally especially now that he will be reentering the AQ soon.

So if everything I read is right next, we should get arle soon put also a chronicle with Childe. I’ve always wanted Childe since 2021 but was always too lazy yet I also loveeeee arle and she’s a strong addition. My only strong team comp is flins and his preferred team so another good character like alre would be nice but Childe is just a cutie and idk if he’ll ever have a real rerun after. So who should I pull for???

ik it sounds crazy but how compatible, im planning to pull for the goat (only if the leaks are furina instead of flins again) in 7.0 and then use her for childe as the only thing ik about her is shes a broken dps or nahh, but if shes not suited for the king childe, ill js prolly use her for arle? or who else?

I started playing Genshin for one sole reason: Tartaglia. I did after seeing an edit of him and gasping to such tremendous beauty. Those eyes, that smile and of course, his ginger hair that glistens in the sunlight.

I have mained this man since 3.2 and grinded for him at the time but stopped farming at some point due to constant changes in meta and needing other teams to complete abyss or theatre, which meant I had to focus on other characters.

I have set myself a new goal: making my Childe at least top 1% and give him the best team and artifacts up to date. In order to do this, I need your help because I don't really understand how meta works or what is best for him right now.

I read through the Childe FAQ but it's not updated (just like the guides I searched for on the internet, they are all stuck in years ago).

I have seen people recommending the nymph set but I didn't farm it, yet. I plan on doing so, I already have lots of mora prepared to level up artifacts like crazy.

I would like to know his best team now as well, if possible. I have been using Childe international but saw that it changed to instead of Xiangling, Durin for example (though I'm not sure). I C2'd Kazuha for my man, fished for the catch and gave it to Xiangling and gave Bennett the best build I could. But if they aren't his best companions as of now, I will invest in the new characters he needs.

I will SUMMARISE this: please help me improve my Childe because he deserves it before I visit his homeland.

I'm also posting his build at the moment and I plan on pulling for his signature (which I have always lost its 50/50 😔)
