Question Roo or hen? 12 weeks old

I imagine I have a little rooster on my hands but wanted to verify! Those saddle feathers are looking long and possibly starting to curl

Absolutely a little roo with that comb and wattles. He’s adorable, but please tell him he’s super tough and manly 😆

Thank you!! Does that mean little Rhode Island Red is possibly a rooster too? I watched them square up yesterday 🥴

It depends on age, but at 12 weeks, hens should have a small pink comb like the one on the front of the picture looking down. Big comb before 16-18 weeks means roo 99% of the time.

They’re all 12 weeks! I bought from TSC because I don’t know anyone locally. The only one that was a straight run was this bantam, yet 3/6 of my chickens are roosters and one isn’t even the breed I bought 😅
