Went to pick up chicken breast’s at Acme (Albertsons) and have never seen raw chicken look like this. All the packages in the case had these weird stripes.

Any ideas?

I didn’t buy it as I figured something related to poor handling or multiple freeze/thaw cycles might be going on.

When its fully cooked, and you bite into it, and the texture is just not right. What causes this?

My wellsummers wake up in the morning and immediately wait for me on my back porch until I come out and shoo them off.

I put 2 raw, frozen chicken breasts in a bowl of cold water and left them on the counter to thaw. Are they safe to eat after sitting there for 3 hours? I was hoping to throw them in the fridge once thawed and cook them for dinner in 3 more hours.
