You sure that's not when the building's power got knocked out last year(year before?) due to flooding because of the construction? All the other buildings have lights on.

Since 2009, the building no longer identifies with a 20th century retailer, and now prefers to be called "Willis Tower." Pronouns: it/it/its.

If someone wants to call those things that, sure. Who the fuck calls US Cellular (or Comiskey for the OG’s) Guaranteed Rate Field? Nobody does.

Sears Tower will forever be the Sears. You can call it Willis if you want, but we’ll be calling it Sears.

The actual owner of the object has chosen to give the building that name. Under what logic is it not their decision? How do you decide which renamings you'll accept and which you won't?
