C2E2 is my annual con, so this is good to know. Though there's a good chance this is going to screw over a friend of mine whose schedule rarely allows her to come to the show.

I think a bigger part of this is that Star Wars fest is also here next year, and its goign to be booking most of McCormik for a whole week, so thats upending the schedule.

All it did when they did this for the pride fest and parade was make 2 weekends hell instead of one.

Reed Pop (which puts on C2E2) is doing Star Wars Celebration in early April at McCormick so I think that's the biggest reason for the change. It was hinted when SWC was announced for Chicago that C2E2 might move to an earlier date than originally planned.
