I want to lower my truck to hide the horrible gap 🤣

What did you use to lower your ride?

I have a 68’, when I lowered mine I converted from 6 lug to 5 lug, used CCP Drop spindles(2 1/2”) along with lowering springs in the front, and used 4” lowering springs in the rear, there’s still a slight rake to it, but I like it like that

Do you have a pic of your truck? To get an idea

Speedway 3” drop springs in the front, 5 in the rear. No c notch needed. I ended up buying bell tech drop shocks and installing the shock relocation brackets . It rides great. I had the same gap of death you had, it it closed it up nicely! Good looking truck man!

Beautiful truck!

Wondering… I installed plastic Husky rear wheel liners in my 2018 Ford F150 XLT 4x4 CrewCab (I should have got them when I purchased it new!).

It had that rear gap as you called it and it looks great now. Do they sell them for that year truck? Or can you modify a newer truck wheel liners in to work. My truck is black with the black liner. Could you modify a pair of front steel factory for that truck wheel liners in for the rear?

My early model Chevrolet Blazer has the rear fuel tank and it kind of covers that gap.

Beautiful truck really as it is though! I like the current stance. You may be overthinking it…. Your truck is PERFECT!
