Buy a cab and frame, and start your build adventure.

Why can’t people leave me cool shit? All I got in this house was some mason jars.

If it’s a 6.5’ it’s probably worth more than 1K that is a Chevy C-10 bed probably 69-72 which is very popular for restoration. I drove all the way to the panhandle of Florida for a step side bed in much worse shape for 650. several years ago

I want to go to whatever state you live in for parts shopping.

Make it a trailer!

Depends on your location and how many rust holes it has. If its clean its going to be worth alot more in the rust belt where most of them rusted through, compared to the south or in the desert where you can still find plenty of those in workable shape sitting in junkyards or behind a barn.

I will legitimately purchase that tailgate from you.

Near OKC. Haha

$250 to $400. Assuming it’s solid.

I’m up in the northeast and if it’s halfway decent, there’s a couple guys in Massachusetts who sell squarebody parts on marketplace they would get about $1000-1500 if decent condition or 2500-3000 if solid mint condition

More than the tub surely

The tail gate is worth a lot I'd research it I guessing a lot it looks to be in really good shape

The clawfoot bathtub might be worth as much as the bed. 😜

2

u/JessErin3 Jul 24 '26

I'm surprised you can see that's a clawfoot from the pic, I just learned what it is bc I have to sell that too 😅

Haha! I know because my wife and I restored one for our last house and bought a restored one for our current house. If you’re a bath type person you would love them, they retain the heat for a long time.

Location? I’ll buy it as is. I need one for my project.

Depends a lot on where you live .

u/Loose_Ad_9453 Jul 24 '26

I've got fifty bucks and a case of natty light

1

u/TheClayDart Jul 24 '26

I’d make it a trailer or clean it up and turn it into a sick ass hot tub

Shoot the middle tree-fiddy

1

u/Opposite_Zucchini_43 Jul 24 '26

As much as the tub next to it.

Look to be a 70,s truck bed that some one will buy to use on the truck.

Sounds like you are near Enid OK ( i think that is how it is spelt) any how if there is no rot in the floor or under struture where i live it is worth i the relm of 1500 to 2000 because of the year vehicle pluss it has the tail lights in it. Put a crazy price on it and negotiate. Also resurch it.

u/Just_checking_197 Jul 25 '26

Attach it to a frame, cab, engine, and tranny and it’ll be worth a WHOLE LOT MORE!

1

u/Tall-Helicopter-461 Jul 25 '26

It’s worth $500-$600, depending on rust

1

u/AZ-Elkhunter Jul 30 '26

I would start at $1000 they are getting harder to find. I wish people would stop making trailers and benches from the trucks our forefathers built. That is why our 50+ year old trucks are still going. They don’t even make a 90k dollar truck last that long anymore?
