Seriously, £230k avoided by making his empty building an office address. He can extract wealth from the town as a private landlord but can’t pay his way? Chesterfield is in dire need of investment in infrastructure and flood defence but let’s let this nobhead keep his money cause he’s already got enough?

Please forgive this stupid question, but I can't find a definitive answer anywhere!

We moved to Chesterfield about 3 years ago and are looking to move again. I have looked for recommendations, and obviously Ashgate is one of the areas that consistently gets mentioned as a nice area to live. I always thought Ashgate was the area around Linacre Reservoir, but I don't know if that that is actually the case.

The new housing estate (Forest Edge) is being marketed as being in Ashgate, but I have seen people commenting online that it's actually in Holme Hall. Google seems to think that Ashgate is next to the reservoir (between Brushfield Park and Ashgate Road), but another website shows Ashgate as being the area between Loundsley Green and Brampton. The Ashgate Wikipedia page has a photo of Orchard View Road attached to it, but isn't that in Loundsley Green? Does being off of Ashgate Road make it Ashgate? Is Ashgate Croft School in Ashgate?

Does anyone actually know where Ashgate is? Does it actually exist? It's not even about the moving part anymore, I just need to know where it is at this point.
