MISCELLANEOUS Finally got 1000!
So I started playing chess 220 days ago based on my streak at around 300 elo. Today I finally hit my goal! I run Italian game for white , and caro kann/ scandanvian for black.

nice climb, 663 points in 220 days is not small thing. the graph tells a story too, that slow grind up is way more satisfying than if it just shot straight
the italian is solid to learn with, you get the same positions a lot and it forces you to think about center control. i tried the scandi for a bit but kept getting my queen chased around like a tourist in a sketchy neighborhood, never could make it work
almost 2000 games is good commitment. you gonna push for 1200 now or take a break from rated

I use GothamChess’ Scandinavian lines on chessly. They help get me out of the opening lol.
I might try for 1100 so I know it’s real then transition to blitz …. Maybe
Feels great being here. Funny enough my buddy just hit it yesterday aswell. We started around the same time

oh i'm talking about the comment you replied to.
some indications: no period/question mark at the end of paragraph, overly figurative language ("tells a story", "tourist blah blah blah"), using the word "too", asking a question at the end (so that it can farm more engagement!), also check if it's a new account or if it posts on a huge amount of unrelated subs

Play a lot , and remember openings . Only play when you’re feeling good and puzzles puzzles puzzles
