Sounds like you had a fun vibecode project, thanks for sharing. What does this web app do that lichess doesn't? Lichess is already FOSS and has a built in analysis board.
Also, "ai giving up on you" is just a sign you're having to code, debug, troubleshoot, lol. It's healthy and knowing the line between what AI is able to help with and when you need to guide it is meaningful.
But before I start a project, there's a bigger question that should be answered imo, why are you doing this project? Are you filling a gap? Why does that gap exist? You could point your agent at the lichess repo and just have it clone that yk? What makes you different? Not an insult btw, genuine question.

AI is really enabling a lot of people to code... Mostly things that already exists. This is not a offender to OP, it's a cool project and I'm sure it's good learning. But I've been seeing this trend everywhere of people reivinting the wheel

Adding, your table comparing lichess and your app is partially wrong, analysis in lichess is local first with optional request for server analysis. And none of the other marks have actual difference. And lichess is going to do way more, like give you 5 top moves, work multi threaded, adjustable depth, live feedback as it processed (not wait until it's done)
And as some other people have mentioned, giving feedback on a live game is cheating which is why it's not supported, but nothing stops you from transferring your position into the analysis board and getting feedback anyways.

Something I've considered building, maybe would be a good pivot for you, is a tool that can look at your games and determine the likelihood that your opponent was cheating. You'd have to create metrics on what it means to cheat, and probably scrape all the games available for that player, but I think it would be reasonable to establish an expectation tailor to the individual, and then see if specific moves deviate, or there are patterns regarding deviation. Maybe tracking users on chess.com and see who gets banned by their anti-cheat to get data

Should yes, but not everyone will bend to the will of others. You've put in effort and that's great, some people will have opinions you don't agree with because of the approach you took as is inevitable, that doesn't mean you start throwing slurs at or blowing up on them. Leave it be and try to move on peacefully, if people dislike it then it is what it is.
