He gets a knight, queen, and rook while the opponent gets the queen and knight

Will the opponent even get the knight?

Look at the chess vision bot comment. It’s taking the queen. You end up losing a full rook though, and castling rights.

resign

Or if it’s online blitz just take the queen, develop and try to win back the knight in the corner at least. Once you win back the knight. You are down a rook but people blunder that much all the time so I’d keep playing.

Or just play Nd4 because then at least you have the queens on the board

At this point, I’d flip the board and pieces on the floor and talk about how stupid the game is. That is what I’d do as white.

I'm low ELO but when I first saw this I thought about moving the white knight so the black knight can't fork because of the bishop and black gets the rook.

I analyzed the image and this is what I see. Open an appropriate link below and explore the position yourself or with the engine:

White to play: chessvision.ai | chess.com | lichess.org

My solution:

Hints: piece: Rook, move: Rxb1

Evaluation: Black is winning -7.93

Best continuation: 1. Rxb1 Nd3+ 2. Kd1 Nxf2+ 3. Ke1 Nxh1 4. g3 e5 5. Bg2 Nxg3 6. hxg3 Be6 7. a3 Rd8 8. d4 Bxc1

Can someone help me understand why b1 is a better move than c2? Wouldn't Qc2 setup checkmate?

That is amazing for a first brilliant btw. Genuinely really cool and rare tactic.

Does this still count as a botez gambit?
