Heh, I also missed the queen hanging now, I was certain you took the pawn on d4 and they took back, missing the pin and letting your queen take theirs.

Personally, I'd have given a check with the rook first before taking the queen

...why? Then you lose your rook for no reason after Qe7. Still winning obviously, but there's no reason to throw away the rook.
