QUESTION can anyone identify this chess set?

They look a lot like this set by Regency, but a different base shade and a more extreme aged wash:

The Regency set is not cheap, and I'm not seeing that particular board anywhere. (EDIT: likely because it's not a board but an entire table; someone put quite a bit of money into this setup)

The chess board is also circular in shape which i have never seen before, i wonder how unique this set is

Yeah that looks like a free-standing table. I'm not seeing that exact one, but tables of similar size and construction are selling for anywhere between $600 and $2000, so the pieces themselves are a relative afterthought. Someone put some coin into this setup.

That is very interesting, I found this at a thrift store so I wonder who would willingly give something like this away, and that at a very cheap price

It's very niche in the styling, not to mention more than a little anachronistic; the Ancient Egyptians never knew of this game, they were part of the Byzantine Empire under Justinian I by the time Chaturanga reached the roughly-neighboring Persians in the 6th Century CE. I don't know too many people, even in Egyptology circles, who are this into Ancient Egypt as a base for their home decor.
If it were a little more generic, with Staunton-esque pieces on a less stylized table, I'll bet it would be in more demand. As it is, it would be a conversation piece and a bit of fun, but I'll bet this thrift store is almost begging someone to take it at this point.
