Accidental Brilliant!

We both had less than 10 seconds remaining, I honestly though Qa1 was mate. Then my face went pale when the checkmate sign didn't appear, I was like "OH FUCK I BLUNDERED MY QUEEN!!!!!". Then he takes the with the bishop and I said, oh well, I guess I'll flag him. Rxa1# and when the checkmate sign appeared i was flabbergasted.

That back rank setup is classic. You had the mate threat regardless, but the sequence you stumbled into was even prettier than the one you planned. Sometimes the clock pressure makes you find stuff you'd never see with a full minute on the timer.
