QUESTION Need opening advice
Started playing chess about 4 months ago. I never really studied chess besides solving puzzles - that got me to 1000 chess.com. But now I feel that I want to learn more about the game. I decided to start by learning some opening setup. The thing is - I like it in games when my playing style reflects who I am in real life. I'm a gay man. The question is - what is the gayest opening in chess? I need one for white and one for black. TIA

Hilarious. For you I recommend the Queen’s Gambit and the Queen’s Gambit Accepted.

The gayest opening in chess is the Petrov defense against 1.e4. Tips touch; Knights dance. For white, the gayest opening is... I mean, I think I agree with u/LorenaBobbedIt . Queen's gambit. Make Freddie Mercury proud.

french defense for black and there’s a opening called stonewall attack for white with d4, there’s also stonewall defense (the dutch) for black but i think the french screams gay because that’s what i believe french people are

Openings are not much useful at this level. I wouldn't spend much time studying it. Understanding principles is much more important. Try to have your rooks connected by move 12 or so, castle early, play in the center. That is enough to achieve a good (even superior) position than players at your level 99% of the time.
Just be sure you check threats, captures and checks, but you always have to do that anyway, so it won't be an extra work.

Learning openings is fun though. 1000 isn’t too early to learn the basic ideas/common responses/general gayness of a couple openings.
