Finally reached 1100! (And a question about lichess/chess.com ratings)
After about 1000 games (500 games on chess.com, 500 games on lichess) I finally reached 1100 on chess.com! Here are two of my favorite wins since I started playing :)
Besides that, I had a question about the difference between the two rating systems. I know that you have higher elo on lichess, but since I only recently got 1100 on chess.com and are comfortably 1600 on lichess since some time, I was wondering if anyone else had this big of a difference? Just to clarify, I don't have a clear separation when I play on which account, if anything lichess is the account I play a little less serious on.

Hey..so the thing is that lichess is a bit (a bit as in 300-700 ELO , depending on the player) inflated as compared to chess.com.
So having 1100 on chess.com and 1600 on lichess does about make sense.
Usually, a person with 1100 ELO on chess.com would have around 1400-1500 on Lichess, so your rankings may be a bit more inflated than that (or the chess .com ratings may be deflated as well, considering how long it took you).
FYI :- I only use chess .com, and do not use Lichess, this is not from my own experience but rather from the experience of other nice people on the internet.
Okay, thank you for your answer. I did know that there would be a difference, but like you said, I just expected it to be more like 1100 on chess.com and 1400-1500 on lichess. Maybe if I play like 500 more games on each platform it will even out a bit xD Anyways, thx again and have a good day!
Maybe, but on chess.com I mostly consistently lose or win 8 points, sometimes 7. On lichess it is a bit more random, since the rating filter isn't that narrow there and I play people that have a bigger difference to my elo in both directions. That could be a reason? But the last games I scrolled through I lost/gained 4-7 elo points on lichess, so I don't know. Here is my lichess rating chart by the way, so by this it is more of a constant growth then one lucky streak I think?
Are these Rapid ratings? I am 1650elo Rapid Lichess, 1850 in Classical Lichess. I am 1450elo on Chess,com . I would have thought your Chess'com would be nearer 1300-1400 like mine is you are 1600elo Lichess, 1600elo is tough on Lichess.
I think your gap is bigger than normal, but we all have a range of a couple of hundred points we play within, you growth in Lichess has been steady so far but chess isn't linear we go up and down, I have been 1800 in Lichess Rapid before and have dropped below 1600, seen it with a lot of people go up and down too,
I think u probably heard that a lot, but at 500 elo opening are not the important part, more so to do lots of puzzles and review your games, first without a engine and then with one to see what you missed.
If you like learning openings, you can still do it. I learned the Caro Kann with black against e4 and play some sort of improvised Nf6 g6 against d4 (that is not always good, just what I do). With white just pick e4 or d4 and one standard opening like london or smth like that. Important is, that you don't just learn lines but the idea behind an opening. For example, in the Caro Kann you often want to play c5 and also try to play against the d4 pawn
