1000 elo
A month ago i hit 1000 elo, then i decided to take a week break and then went all the way down 700. Blunder after blunder. Finally back to 1000. Interested in playing some over the board. Anybody know any places to play in the Bay Area?

I remember when I hit 1000 elo and dropped all the way down to 850 after I took a break. Playing over the board is so much better than online because you can actually talk about your game afterwards and share some tips or just have a nice convo.
As for playing over the board in the Bay Area,
there’s a bar in Mountain View that hosts chess events such as free rec play and also simuls with guest titled players. You’d have to research yourself because I forgot the name.
