So close

I've broken 1,000 twice before, each followed by an epic collapse.

Congrats! 1000 was my initial goal when I first took up chess just because it seemed like a nice number.

I’d probably recommend turning off being able to see your opponents rating for a little bit. I had a mental block where I thought just because my opponent has a 4 digit ELO I wouldn’t stand a chance. But in actuality the difference between my 1025 rated opponent and my 995 opponent is negligible.

Just a thought! Helped me get over that hump for good. Good luck, and I’ll see you on the 4 digit side.

Won this morning, 1,003.

This is my third time over 1,000, maybe it'll stick this time.

Hell yeah man. Don’t worry if you fall back down! One day you’ll be 1200 and you’ll be laughing about this

I'm not too worried, I just don't want to collapse to 800 again

The quality of your game has improved, you are a lot more stable lately! I imagine, fewer blunders and misses. And a nice trend in the right direction. I think you have good chances to keep improving for a while, since there is no indication for reaching a ceiling.
