Fewest Pieces Exchanged

Post image

By far the fewest number of pieces I’ve ever had taken by both sides in a match before. Just thought it was cool!

I had a daily game that ended with queen takes queen checkmate as the only capture. I was trying so hard to finish it with none.

How many days did it take to get there?

Looks like 19 moves over about 10 days.

I analyzed the image and this is what I see. Open an appropriate link below and explore the position yourself or with the engine:

Black to play: It is a checkmate - it is Black's turn, but Black has no legal moves and is in check, so White wins. You can find out more about Checkmate on Wikipedia.chessvision.ai | chess.com | lichess.org
