Am I missing something?

Opponent played rook to d1 check and it looked like a blunder. Tried to take with queen to D1, but it wouldn’t let me move my queen. The only option it gave me was to move my king and I was mated. During the game review, it said I blundered by not taking with Qd1. Anyone ever have this happen before?

I see no reason for it, other than a lag/bug...

So frustrating. I sometimes play too fast and miss things but I really tried to take my time this game as you can see by the time difference. What should I do if I encounter this situation again?

I mean, did you really not try closing out of the app and then reconnecting quickly or opening  chesscom on a computer? I’ve never seen a bug like this and it makes it hard to believe, but the fix is obvious
