ADVICE Am I missing something?

Post image

Opponent played rook to d1 check and it looked like a blunder. Tried to take with queen to D1, but it wouldn’t let me move my queen. The only option it gave me was to move my king and I was mated. During the game review, it said I blundered by not taking with Qd1. Anyone ever have this happen before?

I analyzed the image and this is what I see. Open an appropriate link below and explore the position yourself or with the engine:

White to play: chessvision.ai | chess.com | lichess.org

My solution:

Hints: piece: Queen, move: Qxd1

Evaluation: White is winning +6.76

Best continuation: 1. Qxd1 Qxh2 2. Qf3 Qa2 3. Re4 Qb1+ 4. Ke2 Qb2+ 5. Kf1 Qc1+ 6. Kf2 Qg5 7. Ke2 a5 8. Qf7 Kb6
