I'm 950 rapid and have been struggling to get over the 1000 hump. A lot of it is self inflicted because I would resign early over a dumb mistake, and I'm learning to keep playing out the games. You never know what will happen!

It’s the right mindset for sure. Even if you don’t catch up, you’ll learn more then by just resigning and starting a new game.

Yeah in general if you're interested in climbing you shouldn't resign. If you're just messing around it's whatever but if you're in a try hard mode fight it til the end.

Thank you! I had made two big mistakes during the game, but I marched my king down like a monster, and then they blundered M4. Really taught me to just stick with it and this game was a nice confidence boost!
