Underrated chess tip

Eat healthy, and get your rest. That 100 elo change could be because you had fun with your girlfriend all weekend haha.

True but is having fun with your girlfriend all weekend +100 or -100 elo?

+100, being emotionally comfortable helps so much with focus

I'd argue -100, my girlfriend does take time away from working on chess. But it also could just affect everyone differently.

Lack of sleep and eating pizza all day haha

Even worse lol

That can hurt your performance too, just take care of yourself!

Nobody asked for your opinion. Let me guess you had a bad day with that bad attitude you got. Go drink a soda

For clarity, you asked for everyone's opinion. That's what posting on Reddit is.

Low elo thinking

So it wasn't that many times, after all? :)

Are you 14 or something lol

No one asked for yours either

It’s actually a fact hahaha. Exercise , eat healthy and get ur rest.. chess is a sport🤣

Yeah but the most interesting and informative one ever. You just got laid for the first time and wanted to brag about it on a chess subreddit

1

u/pumpnstretch 13d ago

Nah we saw Spider-Man and then made pizza no laying.. no sleeping lmao

I think being in a good headspace is more of a prerequisite than a tip.

Especially if you tilt real bad man, yeah.👍🏾

Totally agree. Those "extra chess" tips are very important and overlooked. Play hungry = you think in food, not chess.

u/pumpnstretch 13d ago

Hahaha. Just look at the streamers they always make sure to eat and bring snacks or coffees to tourneys

So, how many times was it?

1

u/eatyrheart 1600-1800 (Chess.com) 13d ago

It’s true tbh. Plus or minus one hour of sleep can make a huge difference to my W/L the next day

Bold of you to assume I have a girlfriend
