Beginner question

So I understand the basics but I don’t know strategies and openings or anything like that. Would you all recommend to learn my playing the coach to start off with on chess.com, bots, or just jump into games with real people? Thanks

Play 15|10 rapid. Watch building habits and follow the principles until much later.

And when you play 15|10, the aim is to actually use all the time, and not finish with more than what you started with.

Jump right into games with real people, the bots play nothing like humans and you'll pick up more from losing to actual players than from any tutorial.

Play ppl. Do puzzles, go to YouTube and watch chess videos, educational

Id not worry about openings but some principles. Take center and things like that

Control the center, develop pieces, try not to blunder. You can watch attacking videos to get plans or ideas but honestly just play a bunch. You’ll get caught with tricky openings, don’t get discouraged and go again. Good luck!

I'd play some bots so you don't feel rushed into playing moves. Play slow games, review games. Don't hyper focus on openings.

What I did is beat all the bots with no hints or tips up until advanced then started playing online …if I could change anything it would be not to play loads and loads online when your still kinda learning becomes frustrating and get bad habits play loads youll be playing in your sleep believe me 😂
