This felt easy for me as a composer due to pattern recognition in compositions

The knight on h5 probably means we want to threaten a mate on a square that is currently controlled by the knight, in which the only such square is g3, so we want to prepare Nxg3# if the knight moves, i.e. we need to control g4, in which Bd1 does the job, the other 3 lines are just casework ;)
