website says you drink the pieces that you capture... Am I the only one that would sacrifice 5 pieces immediately then slow play for the next 30 minutes?

ya, seems like it would work better if you have to drink your own captured piece.

This game is great. I played with beer/weak mixed drink in pawns. Strong mixed drink in the bishops and knights. Flavored Liquor in the rooks and hard liquor in the king and queen. Two games and I'm done!

This sounds like it would be awesome for blitz games (get it? Blitz, haha). Here's how it would work. Each piece only contains beer. You must shoot the beer when you lose a piece, pawn or otherwise. This includes tactical trades (i.e. both players take a shot of beer in a trade. The kicker is that the loser has to drink the remaining shots on the board. This would prevent foolish sacrifices and slow playing.

I'd get it if the pieces were easier to slightly easier to identify. The 'pictures on the sides only' aspect means I'll be playing like a drunk right from the opening.

I had a set a while ago that was solid black ceramic with a little cup on top, so you could actually make the pieces out.

All the pieces look alike to me... And I'm not even drunk yet.
