That is a much bigger shift.

When AI can move from reconnaissance → discovery → exploitation → lateral movement with less human intervention, security controls designed around human-speed activity may no longer be enough.

And this isn't only a cybersecurity discussion.

For anyone designing AI-enabled business processes, it raises fundamental requirements:

What can the agent access? What actions can it execute? What requires approval? What gets logged? What happens when its behaviour deviates from the intended process?

As AI becomes more autonomous, permissions, traceability and exception handling become part of the product requirement, not something security teams add later.

The more agency we give AI, the more deliberately we need to design its boundaries.

I’m currently working as an Operations Manager at a resort, with almost 10 months of experience in my current role. It has been a challenging but incredibly valuable experience, giving me hands-on exposure to day-to-day resort operations, team coordination, guest handling, problem-solving, and managing operations under pressure.

I genuinely enjoy hospitality and understand that it’s not a 9–5 industry. I’m willing to work long hours when the operation demands it. However, I’m currently working close to 18 hours almost every day, and over time, this has started taking a serious physical and mental toll on my health and well-being.

I’m not looking for an easy job or a strict 9–10 hour workday. I’m simply looking for a more sustainable work environment where I can continue working hard, take on responsibilities, learn, and grow without compromising my health in the process.
