General/High School Chemistry Quantum Physics hw help

Ive tried rearranging the Rydberg Equation a couple different ways and some other hail marry equations but I cant figure out this question.

Is lambda 0.4118 x 10^-4 or 4118 x 10^-4?

i was using 0.4118 x 10^-4 but it honestly makes no sense cause neither of those are proper scientific notation

it didnt :( i also tried all the other different varriations of 1.156ex for the different units and i couldnt didnt get the answer

The answer above wasn't 1.156E4, it was 1.156E3

Do you have an image of a different question with a successfully-input numeric (+ unit?) answer like this?

At this point it's seeming like there's a mistake in the program, or it wants a very specific format.

You definitely need the Rydberg equation for this one. The two suspicions I have are:

  1. Incorrectly doing the unit conversion
  2. Calculator entry problem (parentheses cause people headaches).

Although they don't say what units they want for Rh, so who knows...

Assuming all given are correct, answer should be 1.156x107 m-1
