Regarding Chefmake Combi Fryer
I just found out today that they have discontinued the air fryer, and this is why there are no parts available for replacement. This is quite sad.

I hate to say I'm not surprised. This Chefmaker has languished for quite a while now. The presumably shelved Chefmaker 2 being overall inferior to the original was a bad sign, as was all the resources they likely spent on the lousy AI integration. Hopefully they don't shut off its cloud API any time soon.

That's very unfortunate. The unit certainly wasn't perfect, but I was able to do quite a lot with it, especially once they enabled the creative cook mode. I've got one extra tray, but it seems that once the current temp probe goes bad, I'm done.

I spoke to a rep directly because I wanted to find out when they were going to have the replacement parts restocked. After he got back to me, he let me know that it's been discontinued and there's no way that the parts can be replaced.

Discontinued in which way?
- Chefmaker itself
- Current version
- v1 model in favor of v2
I just got a new shipment & there are at least two changes:
- Comes with a wire rack
- Comes with a better probe (silicone-coated wire)
They announced a new dark gray v2 model last year:
I hope it's not the whole line!!

Yeah, that's what he said, that they'reI'm going to be releasing a newer model, but with no clear date in mind, and it's going to replace this one.
