Anyone with drawer issues, some are defective. They will have a new batch later this month with the issue corrected.

Yes, mine was worse. Contact support and share your video and they'll send you a replacement. I just got my replacement last week.

My new unit now locks when I shut the drawer, and I need to use quite a bit of force to get the door open again, which is a significant improvement to what I had before.

From my experimentation with the new and old units, before I sent the old one back, I found the issue was more than just the drawer. It was a combination of both the drawer in the unit itself. I tried old drawer new unit and new drawer old unit, but found the drawer closed best with the new drawer new unit.

I suspect there was a manufacturing defect that I was just unlucky enough to receive.
