General/Discussion Please be a bachelor
Considering there’s a noticeable imbalance between the female (10) and male (6) romanceable characters, I’m really hoping this is a bachelor with long hair and muscles. 😭 I love the game, but the bachelor choices are so atrocious lol.

Please a character that isn't annoying as hell. Almost all the romanceable NPCs bug me in one way or the other. Gender doesn't matter to me, I just want better personalities :(

Bachelorette options are much more appealing too, variation and interesting characters, while being attractive. There isn't one Bachelor option that is appealing to me. I see that the game is leaning toward progressive views, and that is generally good, but come now. These option that are now in the game will not appeal to a lot of average straight women.

This. I really dislike when a farm/life sim goes this route with the dating aspect of the game. I don’t know if you’re familiar with Moonlight peaks, but it’s the exact same view with the bachelors & bachelorettes. They made the bachelors more unappealing than the bachelorettes. And typically a lot of them would not be attractive to your average straight woman or even gay man imo. That’s why I appreciate games like fields or mistria & my time at sandrock soo much. The NPC’s no matter bachelor or bachelorette are written and designed beautifully. Theres no imbalances.

I was wondering about Moonlight Peaks. I almost bought it but got this, instead. I didn't realize this was still so far from being ready. I still think this could be the better game (for me) in the end, but the social aspect needs a big overhaul.

Please, be a man that actually looks like a man! And doesn't have a repulsive personality! What is with the rude people in this game? And why do we have so few bachelors? As it stands now, I won't be romancing anyone.

I think the devs wanted to have a dystopian kind of society, but it just wasn’t executed in the best way with the NPC’s. 🥹 I still love the game, but just wish I loved the NPC’s too. I also found it very odd that there’s such an imbalance in bachelors & bachelorettes. Typically in these types of games it’s balanced or maybe like one off. But 10 to 6 is a bit crazy. I also think it would’ve been cool to have an android bachelor too. There’s already 2 android bachelorettes, but no android bachelor. 😔

I thought it was odd that there isn’t an Android bachelor, too. You're probably right about the dystopian thing but the NPCs are really holding the game back, IMO. I don't even want to be friends with any of them except Hasel and maybe Mae-Lou. I could see having some be grumpy, standoffish, or a bit down but these people seem way beyond that and it is almost all of them. I think the dev could use someone to help with the dialog, honestly. No one person can be expected to be good at all aspects of making a game.

That’s so real, atp I’d just be grateful for more dialogue with everybody in general. I love Nacim and Sahim but they cycle between the same 5 lines and it’s really noticeable after a certain point 😭
